The jab: Rennick denouced Scomo for “unmitigated cruelty” – and paid for it.

“Vaccine mandates need to be lifted immediately. They should never have been implemented but they are going to cause so many issues including labour shortages, endless legal lawsuits, loss of livelihoods, discrimination etc. Most of all, people who have suffered injuries from the first jab should not be forced into getting a second jab. This is unmitigated cruelty.”

A letter from Senator Gerard Rennick to Prime Minister Scott Morrison dated 29 October 2021; published on Rennick’s TikToc page on 1 November, on his facebook page around the same time and reposted two weeks ago; cited during Senator Rennick’s Townsville presentation on 2 April 2025.

In my book, no parliamentarian rates higher than Rennick.

And yet until today I hadn’t been aware of exactly why he got dis-endorsed.

The full story only confirms my estimation of him.

For those who have time, please listen to his Townsville presentation. For those who don’t, here’s his response to someone in the audience who criticised him for being all talk and no action:

“Well, I didn’t just talk. I withheld my vote for the Liberal Party and that resulted in me losing my preselection. Okay? So I didn’t vote for the Liberal Party for six months, the last six months of the Morrison Government. I’m not sure if those of you remember me from October 2021. I wrote a letter to Scott Morrison and I said to him, If you don’t stop the roll-out of the vaccines and withdraw the mandates, provide a better compensation scheme for those who are injured, open up the borders, and there were two others … there were five conditions that I posted about the 31st of October to my Facebook page. Actually I posted it again a couple of weeks ago again. So I lot my job in the Liberal Party as a result of that, okay. I then went to court because they cheated to get rid of me. I busted them. And then I spent $600,000 of my own money fighting in court, okay, which I lost. And all that shows is that the systems corrupt, okay. So I put myself on the line there. I don’t just talk about it. I ask questions that have exposed to thousands if not tens of thousands if not millions of Australians just how corrupt our health system is.”

Australia needs Rennick – more than most Australians know. Forensics, reason, intelligence, courage. Integrity.
