Mandates: “Sovereignty, as per the ICCPR, is the bedrock of human rights.”

The statement

“At its core, this issue is not about vaccines. It’s not even about Covid-19. This issue is about the
checks and balances which are supposed to measure and mitigate the Government’s uses of
power, particularly when they infringe on individual citizens’ human rights.”

Open letter to the Australian Human Rights Commission’s ‘relatively new’ Commissioner, Lorraine Finlay, from lawyer Peter Fam of Maat’s Method and Julian Gillespie QC. Dated 27 June 2022 https://www.maatsmethod.com.au/post/australian-human-rights-commission-failed-to-perform-their-statutory-function-during-covid-19

My take on it

The letter itself is 14 pages. Exceptional, by any standard. It is well worth the read.

Two Annexures take the total to 314 pages. If evidence mattered, it would be more than enough.

I would describe the document as a chronicle of systemic failures by key agencies and authority figures charged with protecting our health, welfare and personal rights.

Like the authors, and like so many Australians, I await a response that is worthy of the questions raised.

The jab: ‘Disregard everything we’ve said’, says NSW CHO Kerry Chant

The statement

“Disregard anythink (sic) we’ve said about two doses, it’s three doses or more.”

My take on it

I suggest that Chant should have stopped after those first four words: “Disregard everything we’ve said.”

The community is learning to do that, some faster than others.

Jab survey:  Thousands of Australians coerced

The comment

“Thank you to the 26,680 Australians who completed the anonymous online survey carried out by Clarity on Health between 18th February and 28th March 2022.

The survey results are now available. They indicate that thousands of Australians felt coerced to have the COVID-19 vaccinations. Many of them got vaccinated because it was mandated for their job, and not for medical reasons.     …..

Key findings were:

* 7,559 vaccinated Australians said they had felt “extremely pressured” to have their COVID-19 vaccination

* 8,362 unvaccinated Australians said they were currently (in Quarter 1 2022) feeling extreme pressure to be vaccinated

* 57.9% of vaccinated respondents said their primary reason for having the injection was either to keep their job or because it was mandated for their profession.

* Only 11.3% of vaccinated people reported a main reason for vaccination connected with COVID-19 disease itself.”

My take on it

“The Paris Peace Conference of 1919 was the first diplomatic conference on this scale – there were 32 governments represented – at which Australia had independent status. Previously, the Dominions of the British Empire had been represented internationally by London or had attended diplomatic meetings as part of a delegation of the Empire. However, the ‘blood sacrifice’ of the First World War had changed the balance of imperial relationships, and after some difficult negotiations with the US and France, Australia, like Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and India, was granted the right to attend the Paris conference. This gave Hughes the platform on which to pursue what he thought were Australia’s distinctive interests.  In one of their meetings British Prime Minister Wilson asked Hughes whether he expected the five million Australians he represented to be set against the twelve hundred million represented by the conference, Hughes responded, ‘I represent sixty thousand dead’.”  (Source)

Fast Forward to 2022:  A judge in Australia’s Federal Court finds that neither advocacy group AVN nor a mandate-affected individual has standing to pursue an application for a judicial review into the failure of the government to halt the Covid ‘vaccination’ program – “an experimental jab that has already killed hundreds of our countrymen and women and injured nearly 80,000.’

To deny that the AVN – as the leading advocacy group in its domain – has standing, surely flies in the face of reason, given the hundreds of deaths and tens of thousands of injuries associated with the jab.

The significance of the Clarity on Health survey needs to be seen in that light.  It is another single complementary fact-based advocate testifying to the infringement of rights of tens of thousands of individuals, and echoing the call for justice.

I too echo that call.

Global cooling: “expect to see a reduction … by up to 1.0°C”

The statement

This discovery of double dynamo action in the Sun brought us a timely warning about the upcoming grand solar minimum 1, when solar magnetic field and its magnetic activity will be reduced by 70%. This period has started in the Sun in 2020 and will last until 2053. During this modern grand minimum, one would expect to see a reduction of the average terrestrial temperature by up to 1.0°C, especially, during the periods of solar minima between the cycles 25–26 and 26–27, e.g. in the decade 2031–2043.

My take on it

If you had never heard of a Grand Solar Minimum before today, I am not far ahead of you. A colleague kept mentioning it, in the context of energy generation, so I thought I best take a closer look.

Providential perhaps, that in my first browse on the topic I should come across this article, read it, appreciate the evident competence of the author, and glean some of the core information I was seeking.

Valentina Zharkova is a Professor in Mathematics at Northumbria University. She obtained her PhD from the Solar Division of the Main Astronomical Observatory, Kyiv, Ukraine and her thesis was in non-LTE radiative transfer entitled “Hydrogen emission in quiescent solar prominences with filamentary structure”. She has been a Lecturer at the University of Bradford, and in 2002 she appointed to a Reader and in 2005 to a Professor in Applied Mathematics. From September 2013 she joined the Northumbria University as a Professor in Mathematics.

My takeways are these:

The sun is the main source of energy for all planets of the solar system.

This energy is delivered to Earth in a form of solar radiation in different wavelengths, called total solar irradiance.

Solar irradiance varies, due to sunspot activity and related magnetic fields.

Zharkova’s analysis reveals the appearance of Grand Solar Cycles of 350–400 years caused by the interference of two magnetic waves. These grand cycles are separated by the grand solar minima, or the periods of very low solar activity.

The previous grand solar minimum was Maunder minimum (1645–1710), and the one before that, Wolf minimum (1270–1350).

In the next 500 years there are two modern grand solar minima approaching in the Sun: the modern one in the 21st century (2020–2053) and the second one in the 24th century (2370–2415)

During the periods of low solar activity, such as the modern grand solar minimum, the Sun will often be devoid of sunspots.

The reduction of solar magnetic field will cause a decrease of solar irradiance.

“During this modern grand minimum, one would expect to see a reduction of the average terrestrial temperature by up to 1.0°C, especially, during the periods of solar minima between the cycles 25–26 and 26–27, e.g. in the decade 2031–2043.”

“The reduction of a terrestrial temperature during the next 30 years can have important implications for different parts of the planet on growing vegetation, agriculture, food supplies, and heating needs in both Northern and Southern hemispheres. This global cooling during the upcoming grand solar minimum 1 (2020–2053) can offset for three decades any signs of global warming and would require inter-government efforts to tackle problems with heat and food supplies for the whole population of the Earth.
